My daughter had a gum graft performed by Dr. Santiago a few weeks ago. He was very nice and professional with me and my 18 year old daughter. He explained all steps and procedures with both of us and answered our questions, putting her at ease prior to the procedure. His staff is also very nice and accommodating. I highly recommend Dr. Santiago for gum procedures.

Dr. Santiago is the one of the best dentist who specializes in gum grafting and other specialized dental services. I had many questions regarding gum grafting as my gums had receded from brushing them to hard (this has caused my teeth to be very sensitive). I am literally scared of dental work as I have sensitive teeth and low pain tolerance. Dr. Santiago took the time to answer all my questions in great detail about the procedure. He was compassionate and patience with me to help calm my anxiety about the procedure. I have dealt with other dentists who were lacking beside manners but Dr. Santiago stands out as not only just a skilled dentist but a dentist who care about his patients. Highly recommend!

I had a consultation with Dr. Santiago in April of 2022 regarding potential work on my gum line. According to my insurance company this visit should have been covered 100% but that the doctors office had coded the claim incorrectly. I then spoke with the billing department on several occasions over a 12+ month period and was always told to hold off on sending payment....and they would resubmit my claim to insurance correctly. AT one point I specifically said that I wanted to make sure the claim wouldn't be sent to collections and was assured this wouldn't happen. With each call the billing rep assured me that they understood what change was needed for insurance to approve the payment After almost 18 months of the doctors office telling me to hold off on paying the balance, and they would get it worked out with my insurance company, my insurance provider told me that the claim was too old for any changes. At this point I called the doctors billing office again and offered to pay 1/2 of the outstanding balance. I felt that the offer was reasonable since the doctors office kept telling me that they would get the issue cleared up.....yet they didn't. Apparently the doctors bil

Be careful of their billing practices!!!! I was a patient for several years. For awhile they accepted my patient responsibility amount since the practice was out of network. Without any notice, they decided to change course. With no notification they wanted full payment. There is no billing person responsible for taking calls. It is whoever answers the call. Because I questioned my bill, I was dropped from the practice. The excuse was because I did not follow recommended treatment! But they dropped me two days before I had a regular scheduled appointment. They are out for the dollar and do not care about patients. They also will not allow you to speak to a doctor within the group. Look elsewhere!!! Buyer beware.

This is a copy of a letter I sent after receiving a bill for $723 when I was told I had paid in full. Please check this account, I believe this is incorrect. 1. I was told when I made my first and only payment that the procedure had been predetermined by my insurance and I had paid in full. 2. I initially agreed to have the periodontist clean the bottom left side of my mouth while he worked on the top left. I changed my mind and cancelled the planning on the bottom. He did not do this, perhaps this is where the error originates. 3. I cancelled that part of the procedure because someone from your office called me and told me the deep cleaning could not be done by my dentist’s office. I had already scheduled the appt for the right side of my mouth with my dentist’s office. Since I felt I had been lied to I chose to have your office perform the smallest amount of work possible and elected to have periodontist only do the surgical work not deep cleaning. 4. I spoke with my dentist and shared the fact that you felt the need to take a complete set of x-rays and charge me for them since insurance would not pay since my dentist had JUST done them. I can not say enough about Dr. Santiago and his staff. I was referred to him by my dentist after tooth removal required and implant. I needed a bone graft as well as the implant, so from my very first visit to his office I knew that I was in very good hands. During the entire process Dr. Santiago not only did excellent work but also ensured me that my comfort was very important. On my first visit I mentioned I could feel just a little pain, but not much and he said "even a little pain is to much". I'm terrible with names but the ladies (techs. hygienist and assistants) on his team were fabulous. I had my last visit 2 weeks ago but I am going to continue to rotate my cleanings between Dr. Santiago and my regular dentist since I need it done every 3 months. I highly recommend Dr. Santiago.
